As an associate professor at Sorbonne University and a member of the Paris Institute of Nanosciences (INSP, CNRS / Sorbonne University), Pauline Rovillain studies and explores ferromagnetic resonance. This phenomenon makes it possible, in particular, to generate and manipulate spin waves.
