Hugo Defienne, winner of the 2026 Fabry-De Gramont Prize, French Optical Society (SFO)

At the OPTIQUE BFC 2026 conference in Dijon, Hugo Defienne received the Fabry-De Gramont Prize. This prize is awarded annually to a young researcher under the age of 40 whose work stands out for its quality, originality, and potential impact, and who has already gained international recognition.
The OPTIQUE BFC 2026 conference, dedicated to optics and photonics, was held from July 6 to 10, 2026, in Dijon. On this occasion, the French Optical Society (SFO) presented its 2025 and 2026 awards.
