Traction/compression machine ioperating in mode AC, DC or AC+DC thanks to the combibation of an electromagnetic transducer (loudspeaker) and a large stroke (200 mm) linear translation stage.

Working vertically as well as horizontally, this table-top system is suitable for testing soft systems (hydrogels, biologica tissues, …) in the air or in a buffer liquid cell. A custom-build microscope enables sample visualization.
