Part 5 – Active witness: what is the « 5 D » method?

Following on from the previous brief on gender-based and sexual violence, how should you react when you witness sexist behavior? The 5 D method (Distract, Delegate, Direct, Document, Defer) allows you to put an end to the aggressive situation and show solidarity with the victim.
