Abstract
The talk will deal with mid-infrared transient absorption spectroscopy of colloidal nanocrystals for the development of silicon photonics. The work primarily involves ultrafast spectroscopic studies to understand carrier dynamics and on investigating stimulated emission in the mid-infrared using PbS and HgTe nanocrystals.
