Abstract
My group employs a combination of in-situ spectroscopy, monte-carlo simulation, ensemble and single-nanocrystal spectroscopy to probe nanomaterials in the visible and shortwave infrared. I will be discussing our efforts to synthesize and study exciton dynamics in « mesoscale » semiconductor nanoplatelets. We will also discuss recent work on developing HgTe nanomaterials for shortwave infrared applications.
